I still remember when fate cut your string,

Lying on your deathbed as your eyes closed,

Seeing you take your final breath smiling,

So beautiful yet looking very stilled,

I remember your smile so bright and light,

Your voice like of a goddess stunning,

And your body so perfect, oh so right,

I miss everything about you darling,

I wish to follow you to be with you,

So much is gone but I can't rewind time,

Yet I know I have to move on for you,

So I lie next to you one final time,

I won't forget you your my heart my sweet,

I miss you already so much my sweet,

As I see you dancing to the heavens,

I remember the memories we shared,

I realize that our time came to stop, barren,

As I realize my unending tears shed,

I wish to follow you to be with you,

So much is gone but I can't rewind time,

Yet I know I have to move on for you,

So I lie next to you one final time,

I won't forget you your my heart my sweet,

I miss you already so much my sweet,

So which did you prefer? Today was my first Sonnet, a Sonnet is a 14 line iambic pentameter with each line rhyming. A pretty new experience but it was fun to make. Anyone have any requests? Topics?
